Cohu Helios  In 2011 the Helios family of products will be growing by leaps and bounds with 8 new cameras scheduled to be released throughout the year. Because the products will be using the powerful new Helios Engine the products will adhere to strict industry standards and will provide end users with the most adaptive, scalable, and interoperable camera systems on the market.

The Helios Engine   The Helios engine uses built-in H.264 IP video compression, a range of high definition camera sensors, and motorized zoom lenses up to 35x. All Helios products are ONVIF and NTCIP protocol compliant for maximum interoperability.  The Helios engine will proliferate into many, many camera packages including indoor and outdoor fixed and PTZ domes, fixed and PTZ thermal camera systems, and rugged explosion proof enclosures.  

1080p Cameras   Nearly all Helios products will be available with a 1080p camera sensors and many optical lens options in 2011.  

Helios i-Site   Also new for 2011 is the powerful new Helios i-Site camera option that will change the way you think about the recording and storage of video by destroying the barriers to recording large amounts of high definition video.
