5900 Series Thermal Imaging Surveillance

The 5900 Series is a professional imaging tool. The military-grade microbalometer sensor delivers quality video, even in extreme conditions such as total darkness, smoke, atmospheric haze or dust, rain, light foliage, and most types of fog. They will integrate smoothly into a system of visible-light Cohu cameras for 24-hour surveillance and access control dependability
The camera’s high thermal sensitivity and image resolution let you see important details quickly and clearly. This state-of-the-art performance and our legendary seal and pressurized camera enclosure assures long and reliable service.
The Model 5930 is designed for fixed position installations. It has a 320 x 240 pixel array and four lens choices that satisfy most detection field of view requirements. For installation flexibility, the 5930 Series supports multiple input options of 120 VAC, 24 VAC, or 12 VDC for mobile or solar/battery powered applications.
The Model 5960 combines a thermal camera with Cohu’s popular i-Series high-speed positioner. It offers three imager sizes and four lens options for a higher level of functionality. Cohu can also provide the interface to an IP network.
The 6960 Series features a positioner that allows a thermal imageer (5930 or 5960) to be mounted alongside another video camera for operation over a wide range of light conditions.
Probability of Detection
Provides estimates of probability of Detection, Recognition, and Identification, based on sensor sizes and lenses.
Export of these products is regulated by the U.S. Department of State in accordance with guidelines of “International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)” per Title 22, Code of Federal Regulations, Parts 120-130. This information is approved for unlimited public release per 02-S-2566.
