Regional Sales Manager
The Regional Sales Manager position is responsible for successful sales planning, strategies and tactics for the Transportation/Government CCTV markets and performs all duties in such a way as to ensure revenue achievement, new business development, team cohesiveness, client retention and customer satisfaction. The person in this position reports to the National Sales Director and works closely with the Manufacturing facility to assure that appropriate coordination of activities, communication and goal achievement occurs.
Territory consists of the greater Los Angeles area. Extensive travel within the territory to develop and maintain accounts will be required.
Will analyze, develop, manage, and execute the Regional Territory Sales Plan; evaluate competitive strategies and market opportunities; develop relationships with key end-users, dealers, distributors and consultants, utilities, government, and military; direct, coordinate, and manage the large RFP opportunities within the assigned region; participate in local, regional and national industry trade shows; maintain direct-line responsibility to communicate and manage the goals and programs to each Rep team; provide monthly review of plan to Sales VP; and travel 50% throughout the assigned regional territory.
We require a minimum 5 years industry experience in sales management of technical products and/or systems, strong knowledge of the USA Security market and its many channels to market, proven record of success in meeting goals and growing a region, strong knowledge and working contacts within the assigned territory, proven ability in sales negotiation and resolution skills, experienced and articulate communication skills.
