Analog cameras with MPEG-4 encoders

Cohu will help you protect your investment in analog cameras while you build the next generation digital network.  Cohu offers encoders within the camera housing or locally in a cabinet.

The Cohu i-linx^II (9900 Series) are full-featured video/data encoders that support MPEG 2 and 4 encoding.

I-dome.net (3940 Series) are the Cohu dome cameras with MPEG4 output, and i-view^II.net (3980 Series) are integrated camera/positioners with MPEG4 output.

You will want to purchase a video encoder to convert analog video and PTZ data into network data, a video decoder, if applicable, and the IP system control and management software. Decoders are only necessary when the video is going to be displayed via a standard analog CCTV monitor.  If PC display systems (computer monitor) are only used, decoders are not necessary.
