Cohu's i-linxII IP video management system is an advanced suite of network appliances and software designed to provide high quality delivery and processing of video, audio, control and sensor data using standard Ethernet based networks.

Flexibility is the key. The i-linxII system solution provides the tools that solve very simple to extremely complex IP video surveillance network requirements. Using the three core elements of the i-linxll Series, the designer can create a flexible and powerful, yet cost effective, monitoring and communication system. The i-linxll products:

• 9900 / 9910 Series encoder/decoder appliances and accessories;
• 9950 Series network video recording and storage systems;
• 9990 Series IP video management software suite.

By using Cohu MPEG-4 products, the standard for network video communication, the compression efficiency is 10-30 times higher than M-JPEG, making it very network friendly. The user can record live video right to a local hard drive with at least three times the storage when compared to M-JPEG.
