Cohu’s i-linx series is a low cost, IP based video streaming solution for CCTV surveillance applications using network infrastructures as the medium for transmission of video and camera control data.
Flexibility, economy, and functionality make the i-linx system a true value. It can be used two ways. It monitors and controls camera sites using the Internet and standard web browsers on the control site PCs. On a LAN/WAN network, it’s a multi display camera viewing and control system with network recording and playback.
The i-linx video server delivers high resolution, fast frame rate images providing users a clear, crisp, low latency image for effective remote video surveillance. Adjustable settings allow users to optimize the video streams for varying network environments, as well as image display characteristics such as brightness, color and contrast levels. It provides camera site control of Cohu i-series cameras and positioning systems.
The embedded HTTP web page in each video server allows for operator selection of a camera site using simple standard internet web browsers, delivering high quality images for viewing and control of the camera sites from anywhere in the world.
Free i-linx client software can be installed on any suitable PC for allowing operators the ability to view 1, 4 9 or 16 camera sites simultaneously. The camera group-switching feature allows operators to switch groups of cameras together automatically or manually, for effective surveillance of many camera sites.
The i-linx system is completely scalable, meaning that no hidden upgrade or expansion costs are necessary when camera sites are added in the future.
