The Cohu 3230 Series is a high performance, day/night color camera with integrated zoom lens enclosed in a legendary Cohu sealed and pressurized IP67-rated enclosure. Its design, performance, and price make it a true “set it and forget it” camera ideal for security, surveillance or remote monitoring applications. It has been designed for ease of integration into an existing camera site or in new construction. Cohu environmental enclosures are designed to protect the customer’s surveillance investment and assure long, reliable camera operation.

As a professional surveillance tool, the Cohu 3230 is designed to provide quality video in near darkness. The maximum duration of the automatic long-term integration level is selectable from 1/60 (off) through two seconds (128 fields). While integrating, an on-board frame store provides continuous video output, updated at the integration rate.

Installation and set-up is easy, too. Just position the camera, then use the RS232/422 connection to set the zoom and focus parameters. There is no opening of the camera enclosure!

For cameras sited in conventional environments, review the 3220 Series, which offers the same camera and lens specifications, enclosed in an IP-66 housing.
