5930 Series
Thermal Imaging Surveillance Cameras
• Operates in 8-14 micron spectrum
• Uncooled, microbalometer FPA detector
• Sealed and pressurized enclosure for total investment protection
• Three lens options
When radiated energy is all you can count on, the Cohu 5930 Series is the obvious solution for thermal vision surveillance. This is a professional-grade surveillance tool designed for continuous outdoor use. What makes this camera different from other thermal cameras is its feature set, competitive price, extensive lens options, and the legendary Cohu sealed and pressurized enclosure.
Based on an uncooled, microbolometer FPA detector, operating in the 8-14 micron spectrum, the 320 x 240 resolution detector provides four times the information of low-resolution detectors. A selection of three ruggedized hard carbon coated lenses is available for optimum image quality production, satisfying the most demanding detection field of view requirements, from short to long range (1-2 km) applications with high degrees of probability of detection. To assist in lens selection, review the Probability of Detection page.
