7800 Series
Small Machine Vision CMOS Camera
NEW! Model 7890 with GigE Vision digital interface.
• High performance video with CMOS economy
• 1280 x 1023 pixels at 30 fps
• Color or monochrome
• Small size and light weight
The 7800 Series CMOS camera from Cohu has been redesigned to provide even greater imager performance while maintaining the economical cost of ownership that has made this camera so popular with machine vision users and integrators. With the addition of the Model 7890, users can now benefit from the very high data transfer rates and reduced hardware interfaces afforded by the GigE Vision interface by Pleora. CameraLink cable length is generally limited to 10 meters, while the GigE cable length is vitually unlimited.
This camera is suitable for a wide range of high speed machine vision applications including test, inspection, OCR/DCR reading, and biomedical applications. Its small size, weight, and performance make this camera ideal for nearly any OEM application.
This camera operates in a non-interlaced (progressive scan) format at user-selectable speeds:
- 27 frames per second at 1280 x 1024 pixel resolution
- 100 frames per second at 640 x 480 pixel resolution
- Partial readout allows the user to select a region of interest for a dramatic increase in frame rate.
The 7890 comes with a Windows-based SDK, and will work with MAC OS 10 and above, as well.
