The MPC Series Microprocessor Camera Control System is designed to reduce the cost of a Cohu CCTV system installation and improve command and control of a video system. The Cohu MPC is compatible with a wide variety of accessory equipment, such as pan/tilts and routing switchers. This concept allows the system integrator and client/owner greater integration options, flexibility, and growth potential.

Of special significance is the message protocol used by the Cohu MPC system. A bi-directional data communication method provides the ability of instant feedback to the operator about the camera status and the position of the pan & tilt. This feature makes the control system easier to operate and faster to learn by removing any guesswork in camera operation.

The Master Panel can be operated by two methods: its integrated Control Panel or Cohu's exclusive PC-based NetCAMS (Network Camera Administration & Monitoring Software) program.
