Cohu environmental enclosures are an integral part of a Cohu camera system. This is an important distinction that sets apart Cohu from other manufacturers or suppliers who simply put a camera into a mass-market housing.

A Cohu camera is assembled and tested, then fitted into an enclosure that is sealed and pressurized with dry nitrogen to keep out moisture. The internal mechanical construction is specifically designed to minimize hot spots, eliminate the need for mechanical cooling devices, and insure a clean, moisture-free environment.

The camera and enclosure package is shipped ready to mount. The installer does not have to open any camera enclosure to change dipswitches or set mechanical limits.
